Textile Connection Detail by b.

A couple photos detailing one of the ways in which the textile attaches to the bamboo. Opaque mylar “hooks” were glued onto the tips of the silk organza, which then folded over and fastened (as in the second photo). The overall effect was quite beautiful. The silk organza was an exploration in tension, which really comes through in the final installation. It appears quite dynamic, and reminds me of flowing water.
